Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is well-located and ideal for downtown Ithaca, making it convenient to access many great restaurants. However, the rooms felt claustrophobic and outdated, not justifying the high price tag without breakfast included.
The hotel had clean and modern rooms, but lacked soundproofing due to a ceiling leak. The service was friendly and accommodating, although some issues with the charges occurred. The location was convenient, especially for dining options in town. Despite basic dining offerings, the proximity to good restaurants was a plus.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of town, close to the Commons and Cornell, offering convenient free parking. The rooms are clean and inviting, featuring laminate wood floors and a large king-size bed. The service is accommodating, although it can be challenging to get things done efficiently. The dining experience may be a bit slow, but the location is perfect for exploring the culture spots and restaurants around Ithaca. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room I stayed in was clean and very nice inside, but the view out the window left much to be desired. The service was a bit hit or miss; while one staff member was extremely accommodating and fulfilled my request to be moved to a different part of the hotel, another was not sympathetic and offered inadequate compensation for a mix-up. The location was good overall, with a sophisticated vibe and proximity to the Ivy League collegetown, although it was a bit noisy with a large group of high school students nearby. The dining experience was just okay, not outstanding, but something I might consider trying on my next visit. The facilities were decent, meeting basic needs without standing out.
